22nd June which was last sunday!
5 of us who were scholarship holders had to help out during the event.
This includes giving counselling to parents, visitors and students about the courses we offer, loans, personal opinions of the particular course and other information which they wish to know!
At the beginning, it was sCARY!!
As Semester 1 students, COUNSELLING?? whoa..
so we left it to benjamin, cynthia and our lecturers to do the first move.
Me, shibi and kijun were invcharge of most tours !
Taking the people around college, to our studios, workplace, lecture halls and many others!
After my 1st tour, the job seems to be SO MUCH FUN!
Its definitely exciting talking about how you feel as a student about this course, what we actually do in studios, some things about our lecturers, and above all, showing them our works, sketch journals, photomontages, models and portfolios which are still displayed in the studio!
To be frank,
most parents love to hear opinions from students themselves, those who actually went through the courses and knew just what a new student had to do.
Sometimes when you are asked of things we are not sure of, do not simply give out answers..opinions about it..maybe but it is still best to consult our lecturers!
Honesty!
just tell them..
