Compassion?

Do we see compassion the way Jesus sees compassion?

The preacher today spoke about "Community of Compassion" and what he said really touched my heart, something that...I've never ever thought of in depth..

Why did Jesus chose to die on the cross for US? fun? HA-HA!!

Jesus understood compassion differently from us and that's why!

If we understood compassion like HE did, HE would have just "warned" us about the "sins of the world", about life and eternity, but yet he died for us..... compassion...

Compassion... do we have compassion for others?

To what extend is ours?

Do we show compassion to the smelly beggars on the streets?

Do we show compassion to dirty poor children?
Do we show compassion to the blind, the mute and the deaf?
Do we show compassion to the old and the disable?
Do we show compassion to our FRIEND who are in need?

Just think for a moment....

Do we just give RM 2 to beggars and thinks that we've been very kind to them already? I wonder....or do we take our time to ask them, "hows your day?" make them feel appreciated as I believe everyone needed that!
Poor people are not borned to be beggars...they're just like us...human...

Imagine
What would Jesus do if he sees the broken, the bruised, the rejected, and the poor?

Imagine
What would it feel like to be the broken, the bruised, the rejected, and the poor?

Imagine a child
Imagine a broken home
Imagine abuse
Imagine neglect
Imagine rejection
Imagine being illiterate
Imagine not being heard
Imagine not being given the chance
Imagine the future?

Imagine someone cared
Imagine everything turned colourful
Imagine being given the chance
Imagine hope
Imagine love
Imagine the future? Ain't it brighter now?

It takes a life ro impact a lifetime..."from the other half of the world that we don't know" This video clip shown in church today really made my heart cry out for the poor people around me..IMAGINE..Sentul, a place so near, yet we don't know that most children there are under privilege!

What about me?
What am I doing with this life of mine?
Why are we so separated from their world?
There is so many out there waiting for someone to care about them..but where are we?
Love? How am I even living this soul?
Blindly?

Shaked up by the true story of a little boy from a poor community of Sentul. And yeah, keep the poor children in your prayers yah =)
